The Home-School Connection
As an educator, I recognize the utmost importance of making a personal connection with not only my students but their parents. It is my personal belief that the home is the primary environment in which students learn, and as such I want to affirm your role as the first and most important educator in your child's life. As we begin this school year, I look to you for valuable support in helping your child succeed in biology. Encourage your child to share with you what he or she is learning in class and be an active learner with him or her by utilizing the online resources provided on these pages. Below you will find a letter introducing myself and some helpful information about my philosophy for connecting the home and school.
